The Absolute #1 Thing To Improve Your Health. Period.

It is the Same for everyone and it’s not a “super-food”. You will never guess what it is, because it is that unknown.

My husband and I were having a discussion last night about nutrition, and he said he would love to teach young people to be dairy-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free. And I totally agree that eliminating those three things from your diet will be absolutely life-changing and drastically reduce your body’s overall inflammation levels.

But…

There is something that is EVEN more important. This single thing is what has been overlooked, missed and misunderstood by all but a handful of people around the WORLD for at least the last 300 years.

Here’s the problem with just going dairy-free, sugar-free and gluten-free. You are going to have cravings. You are going to feel like you are denying yourself, you are going to feel like you are missing out on life unless you do this ONE thing.

EAT WITH PROPER TIMING.

When I walk into a room to talk to people, this is the ONE thing I want them to remember from our discussion: Eating with proper timing is the MOST important thing you can do for your health. It is the most important thing you can do for your children’s health.

Eating with proper timing completely stabilizes the blood sugar, provides the body with perfectly digested (and therefore, usable proteins), is naturally ketogenic (meaning, it QUICKLY forces the body to burn fat as fuel again, instead of relying on glucose (simple sugars), AND it eliminates food cravings. People are reducing their cholesterol and losing inches from their waists, just by changing the timing of when they eat what foods.

If you are dairy-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free and you don’t eat with proper timing—you have some mad willpower and determination BUT you are still living with inflammation in the body. Your energy will be less that it COULD be; your vitality will be lower than it COULD be, your hormones will be lower than they COULD be, and your health will be less than it COULD be.

Eating with proper timing is SO POWERFUL that even if you aren’t dairy-free, sugar-free and gluten-free your liver will still be free and available to clean and repair your body all through the night. The result? You get a tiny bit healthier every single day. The result? Three months after eating with proper timing, you realize sugar just makes you feel REALLY bad and emotionally apathetic, and so you completely stop eating it. No denial, no forcing it, the desire for sugar just melts away.

Then a month passes and you notice that every time you eat microwaved food, you feel so sick you have to go to the bathroom. You throw away the microwave. No struggle, no restriction, just a new choice.

Another three months pass and you begin to notice that every time you eat wheat you feel bloated and have to go to the bathroom. Wheat doesn’t feel good for you anymore. You stop eating it. No struggle, no determination needed, it just slips away.

Another three months pass and you notice you have a scratchy throat after drinking tap water. You switch to bottled water without chlorine and fluoride.

Another three months pass and you begin to notice you get nasal congestion after eating cheese. It doesn’t feel good for you. And so, you let it go.

Sugar-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free are the RESULT of eating with proper timing; they are the RESULT of returning to equilibrium.

As the body returns to equilibrium, it is like rushing water flowing to the ocean. It’s all downhill, there is no struggle, things just slip away. There may be energetic bottlenecks along the way, where the pressure must built for the water to break through, but you have the awareness to notice those: the bloat, the scratchy throat, the emotional apathy—and once they are noticed you let them go. No struggle, just choice.

So. If you eat with proper timing, everything else will follow. It is the natural course of things and so things move easily, like water flowing downhill. But if you focus only on the inputs (the foods you eat), you are missing the most important part of the picture (gravity, in my water analogy) and so, your diet and your health under even the best circumstances, could always be better, and it general, it will always be an uphill struggle.

The number one thing that improves everyone’s health is eating with proper timing.
